current semester

Well finally 3rd year started. Since I have joined IIT I have always heard that 3rd year is supposed to be the most difficult period for every computer science student. Well as I am also in third year so am also trying to verify this statement. Well actually I have changed myself a lot in past some time. Well if you know me for a long time. You will surely notice the changes. I wont like to describe them here.
Well labs are a bit less painful for me as I dont care for them at all . This time I think that it would be better to
concentrate myself on theory courses in which my performance has always been very pathetic.
Welll I hope thats enough for today I would continue writing here during same.

28th Lab

Last day I had my first lab of operating systems course . We had a class of about 30 mins in which we were told something that I was not able to understand at all . And after that we were given a task of writing two C programs based on what was taught in class . Well I would not have been able to complete if Chinmay had not helped me.
Although I managed to complete it but I think this is not at all good thing . Well we should be atleast told what topics we have to read .Its totally unjustice for students like me who are not able to grasp everything in no time .
Anyway this time I manged to do this but I dont think next time also I would be able to complete that if we are not told what to study .

Sem starts

So here is going to start another semester tomorrow . Well if you are reading this page I guess you might know how bad last 2 years at IIT have been to me. Anyway I know it was all my fault and I would try to not to repeat them . So once again I would like to make some promises to myself . Well I know its not a very easy task to be honest to yourself . Actually you may be honest to the persons you care . You may also keep promises that you have made to the persons you care . But being honest to yourself is not a very easy task . Well atleast to me :-) . Anyway nowadays I have got a lot of things to write but just am not able to decide whether my diary would be better for them compared to blogs .
Well I know if you are reading this thing you are really one of very few persons which are close to me . So thanks for being so .
Ok then will be writing some things more .

Ubuntu 6.06

Hi , I am sorry for not posting for quite a long time, OK so lets start this blog again :) .
Actually this post should have been posted almost 15 days ago . But as now i have also tested it enough so the post can be better also . Ok so here is my experience with it .
Due to buying AMD 64 PC and even sis chipset I have got to suffer a lot . Well actually i have suffered more than any other of my friends . Well anyway I am happy of doing this as during this I have learned a lot .
Ok sorry lets come to the point . Ubuntu 6.06 is the best Linux I have used till now (In my case it worked even better than Gentoo) . Well all the prior bugs have been solved in this version (almost). And almost all the softwares are latest kde3.5 , gcc 4 and almost every other also so it simply rocks . And the speed is also incredible . So if you are using linux . Then u may try this .
Ok so now i must tell that net is again down in hostel 2 so i am this was my first blog from department lab :).

Well thats one of the main problems that always happens with me (may be it also happen with u also ) . Ok Before reading this topic please be sure that you dont have something good to do . As In this I am not going to write anything good but am just feeling to write something so am gonna write something so all the things that im gonna write below are going to be rubbish . Well if u r still reading this page then I appreciate your patience a lot :D . OK so u have still not left this page thats really great . OK as you have had patience to read this whole crap till now I am gonna tell u a secret :D . Well its not the thing u may be thinking :D . Ok so let me tell u that thing . Oh sorry again I already have said the whole thing am gonna write is going to be rubbish . So please forgive me again :D . OK if u have still not have left this topic then u really have a very very great patience and I expect only 2-3 of my friends to reach here . Sorry wont take their names here :) . Ok so now I can see you are a person who may tolerate all my rubbish talkings and activities . SO u really are the person who can be one of my best friends . OK so friend if u have managed to reach here in this topic please tell me this thing . As I Would really love to have a friend with such a great patience . Violent computer Games

One day I was playing a violent computer game and then one of my friends came to me and we started talkling about that game . Later he changed the topic and he said that violent games may affect nature of childern . Children may also become violent and may get indulged in criminal activities . Then he started giving many examples like : in US one kid shot his friend after a small fight and many others like that but I kept on saying that it was all rubbish and is not possible .But last night I saw a violent dream myself and in that I saw myself fighting against police in the same way I used to do in that game . I killed many persons in that dream and then after that I realised that I should not have done all that and I met a police officer and he told me that he would help me but I still did not change . After some time I again saw some policemen and I again started attackin them and I killed all of them also . Well I was still thinkin that whatetever I was doing was not correct but I was still doing all that and there was nothing that could stop me and then some very strange things began to happen which I dont exactly remember but I remember just one thing I went to meet my wife somewhere but she told that she did not recognize me and then somebody asked me what was the name of my wife . But that also I was not able to tell correctly . Well I was just wondering (offcourse in dream :d) that why did she not recognize me and at the same time again I heard a knock at the door of my room and I had to wake up .
Overall I have just decided that from now on I would try to stop kids from playing violent video/computer games . When a game can make me dream such things I think it can surely have nasty effects over kids .

My dream of last night

last night i went to sleep at about 10:30 pm , thinking that will wake up early next morning and this was actually about to happen but when I woke up at 7 am , I thought to sleep for some more time and than a dream caught me .
In fact I saw two dreams . Well the seond one was quite an obvious one (actually whenever I do some thing for my whole day I see dreams about that , so this time the dream was about the game I have been playing whole time for last few days and I was not ready to get up without killing all the enemies :D) and I was not able get up until that was complete do i got up again at 1pm :(( . Well the first dream was very very beautiful indeed and may be u can call one of the best dreams i have ever seen or infact the best one .
Well in that dream I went on a dinner with Aishwarya Roy and we visited many places together and then I even kissed her . But after that I heard a knock at the door of my room :( and that I got up . I again tried to sleep but it was completely waste of time as the first dream did not get recovered and the second one caught me .

Indian batting really ........................................

I have just come after watching Indian batting in third one day International match between India and WestIndies of India's tour to WestIndies . I have seen Indian batting falling like cards many times but dont know why this time I could not see it .
No matter what is the score of India or no matter how many wickets have fallen , I have always seen Indian batting complete if I have time . But this time I dont know what happened to me but I could not stop myself from leaving TV room . I was expecting Indian total to be more that 300 but one by one all the players made really ****** mistakes and lost their wickets . Infact one time score was 204 in 35 overs and I dont think that from this position anyone could have expected that India would not be able to make even 250 . It really sucks ..............
Well I know that every team and a player has a bad day but I simply cant understand why cant these play their natural game without feeling any pressure . Infact we all expect Dhoni to play big strokes and the way he threwaway his wicket .......oh god ...............it really sucks .
And after that I cant even imagine what was Venugopal planning to do in field except causing his partners to get run out . Infact in past I have always hated the batting of Kaif (atleast for last few manths ) but today after watching the performance of team I really feel I was wrong .
Infact I have liked the way he has batted today .
Altough I expect that India may still be able to win this watch but I shall not be able to forget this innings by Indian team for quite some time . I am not able to understand why cant India convert solid start into a great score .
Well whatever it is I have decided that I wont ever predict score of Indian team in my life till they actually reach it after today .......

Finally India lost chasing

For last some months I have always seen a great performance by Indian team ......Infact I have seen India winning some matches that I had not even imagined that could be won .
So when today I saw 50 runs three wickets and Yuvraj Singh and Rowar batting I had no doubt that India will win the match easily ..... then after sometime Powar got out and then even Harbahjan and India needed 11 runs in one over I was still sure that India will win the match and Yuvraj made me more certain by putting 2 fours and then came the situation 3 balls and 2 runs and then I was just expecting Yuvraj to take the single so that India can atleast remain unbeaten but when I saw Yuvraj getting bowled on just the next ball I could not believe my eyes .
Anyway I can just say well done India as winning 17 matches is itself a great thing ..

India vs. WestIndies

As far as I remember the first cricket match I saw was between India and WestIndies . At that time I was just 6-7 years old and I did not have much knowledge of teams . So one day I asked papa about the teams . I am proud to say that I have always been patriotic even when I was a kid . I knew a little bit about Indian history and the British from school .
Ok so lets come to the point what I was saying ... I knew something about Sachin Tendulkar , Kapil Dev and some other indian players .Papa told me about Brian Lara , he told me that Brian Lara is the best batsman in the world . I was not able to admit as all of my friends used to say that Sachin is the best . Well ....then one day series between India and Indies started infact at that time I thought that WestIndies means a nation which means west to India :d . In the first match Indies playes very well and India was beaten but in the end of the series India won the series then I said papa "maine kaha tha na ki India is best " papa just smiled .
After that I always liked to see westIndies playing (thinking its West India :D) . I always used to feel disappointed whenever I saw India or Indies losing a match .
Since that time I have always seen that performance of the team of westIndies has always been declining but still I wondered why India is not able to defeat WestIndies like all the teams do in WestIndies every series I remember India has always been very good at home but out of home the performance has not been very good . Infact in countries like Australia , WestIndies I have not seen a great performance by Indian team .
But since last few months India has been doing quite well . So in starting of this tour I had hoped a very good performace by India this time in WestIndies . And India has again proved this by winning their 17'th win in continuation chasing the target . Although I personally did not like the batting of Muhammad Kaif yesterday but still its a good thing for India that he is scroing some runs .
Ok so I wish that India will break records of all last performances at WestIndies .....

Summer Project

Yesterday I talked to some of my seniors who believed that one should not do any projects during second year as they are useful for nothing except some knowledge which they believe that is useful for nothing .
Well may be that they are correct by their point of view but I am not very sure of it . I Personally feel that knowledge is also not a thing which we should ignore as its always good to have more and more knowledge . Well I think that we cant simply ignore knowledge . Today even at IIT one of the primary institutes of India studentd think of just gettings good grades and good jobs . They dont look for getting any sort of knowledge at all .
I myself know some of my friends not putting serious attention to their studied and still gettin good grades , I know that they are going to get a good job after getting passed of IIT but may be thry feel later that knowledge was more important then that all . Well I stilll wonder if a student who just studies for one day and may be able to get very good grades and also able to do a great work , then what would he have been able to do if he works hard regularly .

Prison Break

on last satuarday , I made a new record :d well that was not a record that anyone of you will like to break but still I would like to share this thing with you .
Well one of my friends Piyush Kedia asked me to get some episodes of a TV serial "Prison Break " and at first I thought that how can this guy be still addicted to tv and I refused him to do this but he asked me agaim to do that and finally I agreed to do it .
Then I thought why should I not myself try one of its serials myself so I tried to see one of its episodes myself and I was very much surprised that I liked it a lot . And now comes the most important thing . I started second episode after completing the first one . and this continued till I reached 10'th episode and after that I felt a bit tired and so slept for sometime after 3-4 hours I again wake up and started watching the remaining episodes( and continued till I completed them alll , in that way I made a new record of watching tv :D in a day .

Well I liked the character of Michael Scofield the most in that serial . He is really very genius and helpful as one of his old doctors told Sarah . I also liked the role of Sarah Trincedi very much .
And yes today I got the final episode of the season 1 and I saw it . I can just say all of you may like to see that serial :)

Summer

Well , during most of the time during semesters ..... you know we get a very less time to do all the stuff we may want to do .. and always think ki chuttiyon main kar lenge but when chuttiyan aati hain you may think ki kya karenge yeh karke .. chodao yaar baad main kae lenge
Ab jaise mere ko hi le lo i have always thought ki summers main gym jaaoonga ,
yeh game kheloonga , yeh karoonga wo karoonga :D .........but all that becomes useless when I always get vacations .... anyway one thing I think I can do is what I am doing writte now ......:D

Chalo now without spending a lot of time I should come to main point . so this is my just second blog ... I have got a lot to share so where to start from ?? ok lets start with this year .. in the end of every year you think some thing new to be done in next year I mean like giving up some this ........ you may think that form this year I will work like an ideal student , will attend all the classses , will do all the things regularly , will study all the stuff as it id taught in classs ...........same things I believe I had also come with the same thinking and plan when I came to college after winter vacations but could not do much again :(( again nothing could be done and
again cpi decreased .....................
ok now come to present ......... currently I am doing a project in Database during summer (infact nothing has been done till now) and today has also been a waste of time ....as have done nothing today also ......ok now i think should do somethings ..............
